Cherie Yu and Brandon Davito of San Francisco were married Sept. 17, 2011, at Chalk Hill Winery in Sonoma County in California.

Parents of the bride are Taching and Connie Yu of Santa Ana, Calif. The groom's parents are Richard and Cindy Davito of Brookfield.

Tom Duffy, the groom's godfather, officiated the 4 p.m. lawn ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Chalk Hill Pavilion, which overlooks the estate and vineyards.

The bride wore a white satin Pronovias gown. She carried a bouquet of roses, hydrangeas and dahlias.

Lara Traeger, a college friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lanier Coles, Deborah Goldfarb and Marinee Naaman.

Eric Stein, a friend of the groom since first grade, was best man. Groomsmen were Austin Ramirez, Charlton Yu, Fred Yu, Brad Crayne, Charlie McClure, Jon Quebbeman and Brad Reid.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree in public policy from Duke University and is employed by Google in Mountain View, Calif.

The groom, a 1995 graduate of Brookfield Central High School, earned bachelor's degrees in environmental engineering and history from Stanford University. He is employed by Silver Spring Networks in Redwood City, Calif.

The two met at Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Illinois.

A December honeymoon to Argentina is planned.
