It was an evening to remember at the recent 2011 Champions in Giving Celebration held in honor of major contributors to the 2011 United Way campaign. Major sponsors of the event were Judie and Jerry Couri of Waukesha.
The spectacular Pine Lake home and gardens of Maripat and Tom Dalum provided the setting for the event, which featured the appearance of Green Bay Packer Donald Driver, who is serving as national spokesman for the United Way. Driver was welcomed with chants of "Go Packers," and later helped encourage bidding on items, including some he had donated to benefit the United Way.
