The Kettle Moraine Glacier (9-4, 17-5) won two of three games last week to improve to 8-4-0, good enough for third place in the Eastern Shores Conference behind Bay Area (7-2-0, 15-5-1) and Arrowhead (7-2, 3-6-1).
The Glacier opened the week by losing an overtime heartbreaker to second-place Arrowhead, 2-1, on Jan. 31.
Arrowhead's Kara Olsen (Sara Hopkins assist) opened the scoring at 3 minutes, 36 seconds of the second period, only to see Kettle Moraine immediately tie the game at 4:58 on when Jeralise Tylke of Kettle Moraine scored on a pass from Trinity Robinson of Brookfield Central.
The Warhawks then scored the game winner at 6:31 of overtime, on a power-play goal by Makenna Thomas (Rachel Martell/Olsen).
The Glacier rolled to a 7-0 win over last-place Beaver Dam co-op (0-9, 3-18) on Friday. Multiple goals for the Glacier came from Trinity Robinson (BC), who had three and Jamie Ertl of Menomonee Falls with two. Arianna Smith of Mukwonago and Alex Aghjian (BC) each had one while the latter had an assist also.
Assists were turned in by Rachel Hafner of Brookfield East (three), Becca Geeks of Waukesha West, Taija Robinson (BC), Emma Ray (King), Morgan Hollowell (BC), Kelli Sorge of Waukesha North, Irene Hougard of Kettle Moraine and Jessica Foley (BC).
Jenna Bales (BC) had a light day with four saves as she tossed a shutout.
The Glacier finished the week with a 3-2 non-conference win over the Middleton co-op on Saturday. No stats were available.
