Two Central athletes sign national letters of intent

McBain will play soccer at UWM, Parker will play football at Concordia University (St. Paul, Minn.)

Two Brookfield Central seniors signed national letters of intent on Feb. 1 to continue their playing careers at the collegiate level.

Stuart McBain will play soccer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Cole Parker will play football at Concordia University in St. Paul, Minn.

McBain was a captain this season, a first-team all-Greater Metro Conference selection and an All-State 'Best of the Rest' choice.

Parker, also a team captain, was a first-team all-GMC choice on the line and a first-team NOW Newspapers All-Suburban selection.

"All of these students have excelled in the classroom as well as in the community," athletic director Todd Sobrilsky said. "They have all devoted time and effort to the improvement of Brookfield Central High School as well as community projects.

"They are just some of the outstanding young leaders of our school and community."
